Though not my fave Mid Century, I enjoy rocking old damasks and embroidered cloths with outrageous color.<br /><br />&nbsp;Fabric is fabric, and with imagination this Art Nouveau tablecloth (in my signature weird colors) became part of a costume for&nbsp;<a href="http://www.operamemphis.org/2011-2012-season/98-die-fledermaus" title="">Die Fledermaus</a></div> <hr  style=" clear: both; visibility: hidden; width: 100%; "></hr>  <div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: center; ">The costume is designed by Christianne Myers, an Etsian from Ann Arbor Michigan&nbsp;who was invited to be a guest designer&nbsp;for Opera Memphis:<br /><br />"Thought you might want to see how your table cloth got used! I'm the costume designer for Die Fledermaus at Opera Memphis. text-align: center;"></div></span> <div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: left; display: block; ">BEYOND SHABBY CHIC<br />Rather than relist some fabric that didn't sell, and since these fabrics were dyed the same color, I decided to combine a vintage and a retro fabric to make this tablecloth - the retro makes the ruffle, which is a generous 12 inches deep! &nbsp;<br />I had vintage rick rack which I dyed to match the red colors, have ordered more to finish the napkins, then will list on Etsy.<br />An easy project for someone like me who really doesn't like to sew!<br />Below is the same fabric someone else made into a tablecloth, which I dyed and made the napkins for.</div> <hr  style=" clear: both;
